BOUNCE HOUSE/INFLATABLE - APPROVAL PROCEDURES
(Please read carefully)
The pavillion rental is from 8:00am-6:00pm at all shelters. Rentals end at 5pm on City Observed Holidays.
Permittee must have shelter cleaned up before vacating.
The Bounce House/Inflatable Company must provide the following documentation a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the event. The request form should be completed and forms uploaded at https://tamarac.seamlessdocs.com/f/bouncehouse.
1. A copy of the Company’s Certificate of Insurance with the coverages listed below:
- $1,000,000 General Liability (Naming the City of Tamarac 7525 NW 88th Avenue, Tamarac, FL 33351 as additional insured)
- Automobile Liability/Property Damage
- Workers’ Compensation (if exempt, please attach exemption or list the total # of employees in the firm – ex: one, two, three)
2. A cover sheet with the Shelter number, date of event, and name of Permittee.
The Certificate of Insurance will then be reviewed. Once approved, a notification letter will be sent to the Permittee.
Bounce houses/inflatables are only permitted at designated areas identified on the park site plan at the following shelters unless otherwise approved through a special events permit:
- Caporella Park Shelter - #1
- Sunset Point Park Shelter - #2, 3, 4, 5 & 6
- Tamarac Sports Complex Shelter #1
- Tephford Park Shelter #1 & 2
- Waters Edge Park Shelter 1 & 2
An attendant that has been properly trained is required to be on site to set up and breakdown the bounce houses/inflatables. It is highly recommended that a trained bounce house attendant be on site to monitor the use and operation of the bounce house/inflatables for the duration of the rental.
All bounce houses/inflatables are required to be anchored according to manufacturer’s requirements and instructions. Do not use the bounces houses or inflatables above wind speeds that exceed the manufacturer’s recommendations. All bounce houses/inflatables are required to be deflated and secured when wind speeds exceed the manufacturer’s recommendation or wind speeds above 20 miles per hour.
The Bounce House Company is required to supply a generator. The generator must be located at least fifteen feet from the bounce house/inflatable and away from traffic flow and park users and MUST be fueled when running or hot.
Inflatable water bounce houses/slides are NOT permitted. Size of inflatable not to exceed 35' x 25'
A Bounce House/Inflatable Approval Procedure form must be signed by the Permittee AND the Bounce House/Inflatable Company Representative.
The Permittee must have the Approval Letter with them at the Park or the Bounce House/Inflatable will not be permitted in the park.
I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the procedures outlined above.
I understand that failure to abide by these procedures will be the cause of forfeiture of my security deposit and refusal of the bounce house/inflatable into the park.
